There are a some minor scratches from the super soft all silver metal and and one noteworthy ding. the ding is on top of the part on the headjoint left of the lip plate over the cork so it doesnt make any affect on the tone , feel or perfromance. plus its not deep at all, and its been repaired professionally, but you can notice it cosmetically since its right by the lip piece on top. there are also a few microscopic shallow dings on the footjoint that you cant see unless you have excellent eyes and in the right glare or a magnifying glass and you can hardly feel if anything at all , which no one would notice except me since im very meticulous on descriptions , also from the soft silver metal from normal use and normal wear and tear thruout. it obviously in no way affects the performance or tone of the flute and is purely cosmetic, .theres also a strange triangle shaped cut into the bottom of one of the levers.
serial is xxxx6 , the pads on this one are in great shape. No tears or damage to them. all seal perfectly. currently I think the serials are in the late 50s , ive never seen a 6 yet, the ones from the 70s start with 2 and the 60s : 1 I think. muramatsu has solid silver flutes from the late 40s I think.
