Do you have a room available or are you looking for someone to find housing with? I am starting an AmeriCorps program in Olympia on August 28th and I need to find affordable housing for myself and my 2 cats. Some info about myself: -I am 26, female, seeking roommate(s) of similar age, preferably with other women, but I am open to other arrangements -I just moved to rural WA last fall from the east coast for an AmeriCorps program -Planning on applying to the Evergreen MES program for Fall xxxx (so longterm housing would be great if possible!) -Non-smoker, occasional drinker, mostly vegetarian/healthy foods/lifestyle (I am okay with others smoking outside) -My two 3 y.o. indoor cats moved out here with me from the east coast and are super chill/friendly -I love hiking, exploring marine areas, biking, cooking, pick-up soccer, painting, printmaking -I also enjoy collaborating musically (I grew up playing violin, and currently learning classical guitar) -Studied photography/German for my undergrad -I like to keep common areas clean (the mess stays in my room when life gets hectic) -Friendly/understanding approaches to potential conflict are extremely important (passive-aggressiveness makes for an incredibly stressful living situation) -I love both cats and dogs (my cats have lived with a dog before) -Hoping to find rent that is $350 or under as I will be living on an AmeriCorps stipend (although I plan to find a second part-time job if time allows)
